What are Chakra.
Chakras are energy centres of the body. We have hundred small chakras and & main chakra points that run along the spine. These energy centres are responsible for keeping the body healthy energetically. Chakras filter information that is received and sent out through thought patterns. The chakras flow in a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. An imbalanced chakra can be flowing too fast or too slow. If imbalanced, it maybe murky or dull in colour, and may ultimately lead to holes in the aura leading to illness or disease.

Root Chakra
Connects us to the earth and grounds us physically by helping to keep us in the present moment. It forms the basis of our sexuality, stability and security. The quality of this Chakra is Grounding. An imbalanced Root Chakra can lead to:  Problems in the legs, feet, ankles, knees, hips and groin, rectum, tailbone, reproductive organs, hormonal imbalance, urinary tract infection, immune system, depression, auto immune deficiencies.

The Root and Sacral are closely linked.

Svadisthana

Sacral Chakra
It is associated with: Relationships, addictions, feelings, creativity, joy, enthusiasm, emotional insecurities and identity. The quality of this Chakra is Pure Creativity. An imbalanced Sacral Chakra can lead to:  Eating disorders, urine tract infections, reproductive disorders, irritable bowl, occasional headaches, fever, emotional imbalances and addictions. Also lack of motivation and sex drive in both sexes.

Manipura

Solar Plexus Chakra
It is associated with opinion and personal power, gut feelings, who you are, intuitive self, premonitions, will power, confidence, courage, drive, inner strength, self-worth and metabolic energy. It is the Chakra most effected by stress and is the power centre of emotions and positive self-control.

Quality of this Chakra is:  Power and the emotional aspect is expansiveness and growth.An imbalanced Solar Plexus Chakra can lead to digestion and lower back problems, feeling unworthy and low self-esteem.
We show signs of arrogance, insecurity, aggressive behaviour and are prone to depression and anxiety. We tend to be doubtful and mistrusting towards others. Physical problems include, poor digestion, ulcers, diabetes, liver and kidney problems, anorexia, bulimia and intestinal issues.

Anahata

Heart Chakra
It is associated with: The essence of who you are, unconditional love, compassion and lack of self- love.
It is the Chakra of passion and devotion. The ability to listen to the heart not your head.
Quality of this chakra: Love for life and all beings.An imbalanced Heart Chakra can lead to: Feeling disconnected and have trouble loving ourselves and others. We tend to experience poor circulation on the physical level, middle back tension, rib cage and breasts. Lack empathy on the emotional level. On the spiritual level many issues including, love, grief, hatred, anger, fear, betrayal and loneliness may reside here. Physically it can lead to, lethargy. Breathing difficulties, congestion and heart failure.

Vishuddha

Throat Chakra
It is associated with: Communication and expressing our true self. Speaking the truth and being true to who we are.Quality of this Chakra: Self Expression.Emotionally it governs independency and security and is the Chakra that can help give the feeling of being powerful beyond words.An imbalanced Throat Chakra can lead to: Exhaustion, digestive and weight issues, neck pain and pain in the back of the head.

Ajna

Third Eye
It is associated with: Our Inner aspect, intuition, seeing the truth, imagination, visualising and creating reality. It is our internal computer. We see and create our life through this chakra.Quality of this chakra is: Clarity and intuition.Emotional aspect is clarity spiritual aspect is meditation.
An imbalanced Third Eye Chakra can lead to: Headaches and problems with the scull including, hearing, dizziness, cognitive function and Stress headaches. This chakra requires focus and attention. Meditation, quiet and calmness helps to regulate this chakra.

Sahasrara

Crown Chakra
It is associated with: Psychic, mediumship, telepathy, clarity, memory and being in the present moment.
Quality of this chakra is: Unity and transcendental consciousness,It connects the highest most evolved part of the self where our personal core of divinity that connects us to the divine.
